Give your user roles

Based on your implementation scope, you will assign the standard roles to your username. Of course, different roles can exist within each scope, so this is just an example.

Steps to challenge execution:

  1. Click on Hamburguer --> Tools --> Security Console

2. Click on the User icon

3. Enter your user and search it

4. Click on your name to access the next screen

5. Click on the edit button and scroll down to add new roles lines

6. Click on Add Role to add the new lines, as explained on this link:

7. Example:

Copy the Role name and click on search

Confirm the name and code. If everything is in order, click Add Role Membership. Repeat for the remaining roles.

8. Before saving, double-check that the roles you've added are associated. After that click on Save and Close button.

9. Compile the roles definition : Homepage -> Navigator (Hamburguer) -> Tools -> Scheduled Processes

9.1 Schedule New Process -> Name: Retrieve Lastest LDAP Changes -> Ok -> Submit

Synchronize user roles...

9.2 Schedule New Process -> Name: Send Pending LDAP Request -> Ok -> Submit

Requests to create, suspend, and reactivate user accounts...
